Listing Lab AI (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the Listing Lab AI Chrome extension and the website at listinglabai.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
1. Information We Collect
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and store it securely via Supabase, our authentication and database provider.
Listing data. When you run an analysis, the extension reads publicly visible listing information from the page you are browsing (address, price, bedrooms, amenities, description, and photo URLs). This data is sent to our backend to generate your report. We do not read any content outside of real estate listing pages.
Usage data. We log each analysis you run (mode, timestamp, and a count of analyses this month) to enforce free-tier limits and to improve the product. We do not store the full text of every report indefinitely.
Feedback. If you submit a thumbs-up or thumbs-down rating via the extension, we store your rating, optional reason, and any comment you provide, along with your user ID.
Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your credit card number. Stripe provides us with a customer ID and subscription status only.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To generate AI-powered listing analysis reports
- To enforce monthly usage limits on the free plan
- To process payments and manage your subscription
- To send you product updates and beta program communications (you may opt out at any time)
- To improve the accuracy and quality of our analysis engine using aggregated, anonymized feedback
3. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the following service providers, strictly to operate the product:
- Supabase — authentication and database (United States)
- OpenAI — AI analysis engine; listing data is sent to OpenAI’s API to generate reports. OpenAI’s data use policy applies to API requests.
- Stripe — payment processing
- Railway — backend hosting
- Google — transactional email delivery
4. Data the Chrome Extension Accesses
The Listing Lab AI extension requests the following browser permissions:
- activeTab / tabs — to detect which listing site you are on and trigger analysis
- storage — to store your login session locally so you stay signed in
- scripting — to read publicly visible listing data from the page you are viewing
- Host permissions (Airbnb, VRBO, Zillow, Redfin, Realtor.com) — to enable listing extraction on each supported platform
The extension does not read your browsing history, bookmarks, cookies, passwords, or any content from pages outside the supported real estate platforms.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account and report data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing founder@listinglabai.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
6. Security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Authentication tokens are stored locally in your browser’s extension storage and are never shared with third parties. We use Supabase’s Row Level Security to ensure users can only access their own data.
7. Children’s Privacy
Listing Lab AI is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the product evolves. We will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify users by email.
